The International Exchange Program enables international students from École Polytechnique partner universities with exceptionally strong competencies in science to attend certain courses in the Ingénieur Polytechnicien Program.
This program includes courses in the 2nd and 3rd years of the curriculum, for a period lasting between three months to a full academic year.
Although this is a non-degree-seeking program, students are able to receive credit at their own universities for courses they attend at École polytechnique. All applications are formalized with a contract which must be approved beforehand by the student and his or her primary university.

The International Student Internship Program enables undergraduate and graduate-level students to undergo a 3 to 6-month internship at one of the École Polytechnique laboratories. The program is reserved for students attending partner universities.
Applicants to the program must first contact their own university’s Office of International Affairs to verify that their establishment has a partnership with École polytechnique.
